Physical Intervention training and techniques,
Foreword,
All of our physical intervention techniques are derived from non pain compliance
methods which have been practised for over 10 years in many different fields. If necessary
we will defend the use of these techniques within the court of law. Our methods allow a
person to be controlled maintaining safety for the person performing the restraint
and the person being restrained.
Duration: 2 days
assessment - Assesment is done throughout and by role play at the
end of the second day

- History of physical intervention
- Legislation relating to the use of force

- Medical implications of using force
Unit 2
- Break away techniques
Unit 3
- Safe escorting and holding techniques
All students are asked to sign a disclaimer before they are allowed to start the course.
All the techniques used have been tried and tested over the years within several different environments such as night clubs and hospitals by the authors of this course. They have been found to be more than sufficient to achieve the objective. Please note that we do not teach any attacking techniques.
